“Edges” illustration exhibition
curatorship, design and illustrate an exhibition at the “Outline” Festival in Jerusalem, 2021.
A commissioned collaboration between illustrators, investigating different peripheral cities in Israel. We aimed to explore the boundaries between the city edges to its surrounding nature, using illustrations printed in the Risograph technique.
My illustrations were exploring the city of Karmiel, where I spent a lot of time growing up. The edges of the city are bordered by the massive Galilee terrain, weaved around each other in a typical Israeli combination, as a place that holds different populations, religions and living areas.
participants: Eli Babajanov, Yuval Salingar, Gavriel Yawitz and me
