Pop-up book: Environmental Dilemmas in Israel
Two hand-made and hand-drawn pop-up books, dealing with environmental dilemmas in Israel.
Through research, interviews, writing and illustrating, I have created two different pop-up books, each one deals with a different environmental dilemma, aiming to showcase the data and opinions so the viewer can decide his own.
The first book was dealing with the natural gas dilemma in Israel, showcasing the conflicts and the possible economic and environmental scenarios which might occur with each choice.
The second book was dealing with intrusive species: How by feeding street cats or forgetting the trash can open, the delicate balance of Israeli nature is being held on the brink.
Using attractive, colourful visual language and the fun interactive experience of pop-ups, the viewer could approach the books, read the information, and question his opinions.
